The dates for the 2025 Spring Rec season are:
- Practices will officially start the week of April 14th
- All games are on Saturdays with the first games on April 19th
- Doubleheader day is May 31st. All teams except Kindergarten teams will have 2 games scheduled
- The last games will be on June 7th
Minnesota Rush REC soccer program is designed to teach players soccer skills, teamwork and sportsmanship in an environment where participation and fun are the focus, not competition.
The philosophy of the Recreational Soccer program is to ensure that all youth in Rochester and the surrounding communities have the opportunity to learn the game of soccer. The program provides a low-cost, safe, and structured soccer experience for all area youth in grades K-6 and can serve as a starting point before moving to more competitive programs.
Through the Minnesota Rush Rec league, teams play other teams from Rochester and the nearby surrounding communities. To encourage fun and developmental atmosphere, each child plays at least half of each game, no matter the skill level. Scores and league standings are not recorded.
