Driver’s Education is available for students in St. Charles who are 15 years old or older by July 31, 2025.
The in-person classroom session (30 hours) will be completed at St. Charles Elementary School Auditorium. Classroom sessions are 3 hours per time and are mandatory, with no virtual option. After completing the classroom sessions, students will receive a “Blue Card”. Students will need this card when applying for an instructional permit with the DMV.
After registration, class participants will receive an email approximately one week before class with classroom updates, reminders, and information.
Classroom Session Dates:
Monday-Friday
June 2nd- June 13th
8:00 am- 11:00 am
Parent meeting date: Tentatively Thursday June 12, 7pm SCES Auditorium (optional)
This class will be in-person. Minnesota State statute requires each student to complete 30 hours in the classroom. If you are unable to attend all of the dates please consider another session date.
